Dali Old Town

With different kinds of bars, restaurants and stores, Dali Old Town gives travelers  a different feel from other towns in China. The town's layout was uniform. Besides the Bai houses, the houses with gray-green roof tiles, peculiar workshops, temples, schools and churches with antique flavor are scattered.

You can travel while eating a rice-flour cake or a dairy fan on the streets, experiencing Bai people's life in the southwest China's Yunnan province.

Erhai Lake

Erhai Lake is the largest highland lake in Yunnan after Dianchi as well as one of the seven largest freshwater lakes in the country. Erhai in Chinese means "sea shaped like an ear." The name implies the lake is ear-shaped and as large as a sea.

The lake covers an area of 250 square kilometers and is located about two kilometres east of Dali. Seen from Cangshan Mountain, it lays like a crescent between Cangshan and Dali. On a sunny day, the crystal waters of Erhai Lake and the snow-crested Cangshan Mountain dazzle each other with the sunshine reflection, and enlighten admirers with the time-honored description of "Silver Cangshan and Jade Erhai."

Shuanglang Town

Shuanglang is a fabulous place where you may forget to leave. With tranquil Erhai Lake, quiet fishing village and piercingly-cold wind, it is just a paradise in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture.

Facing Erhai Lake and connecting with Jizu Mountain, Shuanglang is a beauty with the background of green mountains. Wind, flower, snow and moon are romantic themes in Dali. Appreciating the white snow on the Cangshan Mountain, moonlight reflecting on the Erhai Lake and the well-known flowers in Shangguan Town, you may feel satisfied with the life.
